Behind Olivia Colman's Grey Hair Transformation

When Olivia Colman arrived at the European premiere of Wicker during the 22nd Zurich Film Festival, her long, softly textured silver-grey hair immediately captured attention.
The dramatic change from Olivia's familiar shorter style quickly became a beauty story in its own right, with leading fashion, beauty and international publications celebrating her grey colour, natural texture and extraordinary new length.

"For me, the most important thing was that Olivia still looked completely like herself," says Inanch Emir. "We weren't trying to hide her grey hair - we wanted to celebrate it. Natural grey hair is never just one colour, so I blended four different shades to create depth and dimension and to work harmoniously with Olivia's own hair".

By creating very small individual bonds, I was able to place the different tones exactly where they were needed.
